The Palace of Justice's program had to include areas with different privacy rates. This is the reason why two kinds of spaces are distinguished in the buildings composition: on one hand, the most public ones, in relation with transition areas; and on the other one, the rest of the program pieces:offices, meeting rooms, courtrooms...
This duality, arisen from the idea of that distinction between areas, is expressed in the use of the building materials and different types of façade identify each part of the building. In the room area, the system used is based on a blind solid covering with horizontal windows. However, a transparent skin covers halls, circulation spaces and waiting areas.
